During our three-day study visit to Vienna, we explored practical models of dual education that successfully align training with labor market demands. We gained insights into how students are supported in choosing careers through early exposure, career guidance, and active involvement of industry partners. A highlight of the visit was observing initiatives such as Girls’ Day, which actively promote gender inclusion and encourage young women to explore a wider range of professions. The use of digital technologies in education also stood out as a key strength. These observations provide concrete ideas that can be adapted and implemented to strengthen vocational education systems, including at the Center of Excellence in Construction in our own context.
